Birth is powerful, unpredictable, and deeply personal. My role is to preserve the moments you may not be able to fully take in while also supporting you through the experience. Birth photography is about more than remembering what happened. It’s about remembering the strength you found, the people who surrounded you, and the first moments of meeting your baby.
Doula Support — Rooted in Trust, Knowledge, and Choice
In addition to birth photography, I offer doula support for families who want both emotional presence and to feel supported and empowered to make the best choices for themselves and their baby.
I’ve completed Washington state approved doula training, Spinning Babies® and additional lactation education, and my approach is simple:
I believe moms can birth their babies. I believe support should meet you, not control you. I believe informed choice matters — always.
My role is not to tell you what to do, but to:
Support your decisions
Help you stay grounded and informed
Encourage confidence in your body
Offer reassurance when things feel intense or uncertain
You deserve someone in the room who believes in you — fully.
A Birth Philosophy That Supports the Body
Your birth story is uniquely yours, and it deserves to be supported, respected, and remembered.
Birth works best when the body is supported, not rushed.
I believe in:
Movement- to help baby descend and rotate
Rest- this not a race
Nourishment to maintain strength and energy
Creating space for intuition and instinct
Why Birth Photography Matters (More Than You Think)
Right now, it may feel like something you’ll remember forever. But birth is intense — and memories blur.
Birth photography gives you:
A way to see your strength from the outside
Proof of the support you had
A story you can return to when the details fade
Something to show your child one day — how deeply wanted they were
Telling your birth story through photography is something you will be so grateful you did — even if you don’t realize it yet.
"I can’t imagine how we would have gotten through yesterday without your support. Thanks helping to guide us through it" -Seattle doula Client

FAQ:
When should I book birth photography and doula support? The best time to reach out is early pregnancy. Birth photography requires limited availability because I reserve your due date and remain on call during your birth window.
What types of births do you photograph? I photograph hospital births, birth center births, and home births throughout Everett, Seattle, Skagit County, and surrounding areas.
What happens if my birth is long or short? Birth is unpredictable, and that’s part of what makes each story unique. I remain on call around your due date and will be there when you need me. If your baby arrives quickly, I’ll still document the moments I’m able to capture.
Do you only photograph births, or do you provide doula support too? I offer birth photography and doula support together, providing both emotional support during labor and the ability to preserve your birth story through photographs.
What if I don’t know what I want photographed? You don’t have to. I gently document the moments that unfold naturally—the connection, support, strength, and details that tell the story of your birth. We also go over your preferences should you have them beforehand.
Will you replace my partner or medical team? Never. My role is to support you and work alongside your birth team and partner. I’m there as an additional source of calm, encouragement, and support.
What if my birth plan changes? Birth rarely goes exactly as planned, and that’s okay. My goal is to support your choices and document your story as it unfolds.
Do you offer maternity or newborn photography too? Yes. I offer maternity and newborn sessions so you can preserve the full journey from pregnancy through those first days with your baby.
